• For tires in conventional 2 or 3-ply structure, each ply of cords is covered by a 90° angle with the rim. The rubber-filled gap between the cords in sidewall area is an extremely fragile spot. Sharp objects and bushes will easily press off the sidewall cords to directly reach the fragile rubber gap and pierce your tire.

  • Two plies of conventional radiation cords, crossed with the third ply with an angle of 8°, reduce the rubber gap on Cooper tires.

It is the unique Armor-Tek3 adopted in Cooper tires.
